Trump’s "Bank": It’s Actually Worse Than You Think

Written from published researchFull text opens September 19, 2026

It’s not a bank, but

Park $1B of money in the president’s stablecoin and you hand his family $30M to $40M a year. Legally, through a federally chartered company that prints its own private digital dollars. There’s a word for what the Trump family just built, and it isn’t banking. It’s influence laundering, and it’s completely legal. And by the end of this you’ll see why the July export-control easing to the UAE isn’t just conspiracy theory. It’s actually conspiracy fact.

And while I’m at it, since the market cap of stablecoins tend to track the overall value of bitcoin and the larger crypto space, it makes sense why Trump would want the U.S. Government to “make sizable purchases of crypto” because every incremental dollar of USD1 market cap increase, increases the legal scrape.

But let’s clear a thing or two up, because I saw some bad takes on what his new “bank” is and isn’t.
